The Seminar will explore advance topics in Security as applied to embedded technologies and wireless networks.  Topics addressed will include but not limited to various security aspects, such as Key management, various attacks, attack mitigation, and intrusion detection, proactive and reactive security measures as applied to:

 

·       Mobile ad hoc networks

·       Sensor networks

·       RFID based networks

·       Ad Hoc networks applied to transportation (Vehicular)

·       Ad Hoc/Sensor networks applied to body area networks

·       Other Pervasive networks

·       Delay tolerant networks

·       Practical security challenges in prevalent mobile devices

·       Security related to mobile applications

·       Hardware based security approaches

·       Security Standards

Sstudents will research on an assigned topic, solve a significant problem, write a report and give a presentation.
