Density Contour
Density contour is a variation of a scatter cartisian plot. It shows the density distribution of points in a region.
  1. Harmonics:
    • Harmonic: same as in the basic plot
  2. Settings
    • Plot Mode: how density can be represented. 'surface' and 'mesh' are 3-d representations and 'contour' is a 2-d representation.
    • Grid Number: number of grids divided the region
    • Neighbors: number of neighboring grids used to calculate the data point density
    • Colormap: MATLAB colormaps
Try Yourself
  • Colored density contour
    • Click "Default Values" button to reset values
    • Set "Plot Mode" '3. contour'
    • Set "Grid Number" '75'
