Just as a reminder, Labs 1,2, and 3 will all be due at the beginning of lecture on Monday, September 23. Some parts of the lab are required to be handed in on floppy disks. Please make sure your name appears on the disk. You may hand in more than one disk if all of your materials do not fit on one disk. You will be receiving the disks back after the grading is complete.

Please note that the Lab indicates you should save your screen shots as .bmp files. These files are quite large in size, and not very easy to fit many on a disk. Therefore, you may save your screen shots as .jpg files or .gif files.

Lab 2 is now available on the Labs page.

I have just changed the readings for Friday's and Monday's class. Over the course of those two classes we will talk about issues in Chapters 9 - 11, but the material on Friday will be from the first part of Ch. 10.
