Problems with Extra Credit (Posted 5/7/02)

If you have had problems getting the experiment part of the extra credit to work for you, either because of errors or because you can not find a computer that has Shockwave. Please email me to make special arrangements for how to receive proper credit. Please indicate in your email what your problems were and a solution will be reached.

Lab 5 due date extended(Posted 4/15/02)

As stated in class today, the due date for Lab 5 has been changed, please see the lab description for further details.

Due date reminders (Posted 3/15/02)

Just as a reminder, Lab 4 is now due on Friday, March 22nd by 11:59:59pm. Homework 2 due date has been extended until Monday, April 1st by 11:59:59pm. Extra Credit assignment is still due in class on Monday, March 18th.

Lab 3 extension (Posted 2/20/02)

Lab 3 Posted (Posted 2/15/02)

Just when you thought the fun was over... I have posted Lab 3. You have a week to turn it in, but I just wanted to tell everyone that it was available.

Using the Character class & Lab 2 extension(Posted 2/8/02)

I have posted a simple piece of code that uses the Character class in the way I was trying to do quickly at the end of class. The class, called CharacterManip.java can be seen on the Code page. The short of it is that I was incorrect about the syntax at the end of class today.

Also, I have decided to extend the due date of the lab to be Friday, February 15 at 11:59:59pm. There will be no new lab next week.

Office Hours on Monday, February 11th (Posted 2/4/02)

Code Base Posted (Posted 2/4/02)

The code base for the Pig Latin project is now posted on the code page. You can make a copy directly to your directory and begin your work early. I will review this code in class on Wednesday and give further assignment instructions.

Office Hours Wednesday Shortened (Posted 1/28/02)

This Wednesday, January 30th, I will be teaching a class for another professor and will have to end my office hours by 2:50pm. If you were planning on attending my office hours after that time, please contact me and we can set up an appointment.

Tuesday Recitation cancelled (Posted 1/28/02)

As per discussion in class today, the Tuesday recitation will not be meeting for the rest of the semester. You should all attend the Wednesday recitation starting this Wednesday, January 30.
