The grades in the electronic gradebook are final and should be available for checking on MyUB by May 16th.
The electronic gradebook now holds the grades for the final exams, however the overall course grades ARE NOT FINAL. When grades are final, an announcement will be posted to this site.
Adrienne will be holding office hours on Tuesday, May 6th and Wednesday, May 7th from 11am to noon.

The HW that was assigned from section 2.4 will now be due on Tuesday, April 15, 2003. Please check the HW's page for the new due dates for this assignment.

Please note that there has been a change in the assigned problems from 2/20/03. For question 17 it indicated that you should do parts a & e. This was a typo. You only need to do part a. Sorry for the confusion. Please see the revised assignment on the Homeworks page.
As announced in class this morning, homeworks will now be due on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays. Please see the Homeworks page for change in due dates. This change is effective as of this week.
Adrienne will be out of town from Tuesday until Friday of this week at a conference. Therefore, her office hours are cancelled for the remainder of the week.
In recitation, I indicated that topological sorting would take the lower weighted nodes first for nodes of the same precedence. This is NOT the case. I was thinking of a different algorithm. If nodes have the same precedence, they will just be picked in some order to be completed.
The electronic gradebook is now operational. This link is on the Resources page. Currently, you should see your grades for Homeworks 1 & 2 and Quiz 1. If the grades in the gradebook at this point or any point in the semester do not agree with the grades you received on your papers, you must bring this up (IN PERSON) to Adrienne or the TAs. Please check the gradebook often for updates.
Thanks to Albert, solutions for the first two homework sets as well as the first two sets of recitation problems are now available on the Homeworks page. We will continue to post these solutions in electronic form throughout the semester. If you have questions about the solutions, please stop by during office hours. If you feel that one of the posted answers may be incorrect (which has been known to happen), please send an email to Adrienne and/or the TAs and we will look into it.

Adrienne's Office Hours on Wednesday will be from 12:00pm to 12:50pm effective immediately and for the rest of the semester.
Adrienne's Office Hours on Tuesday 1/21/03 will be cancelled and the hours on Thursday 1/23/03 will be from 10:00am - 11:00am only. This change will only be for this week.
