CSE 115: Lab 1 grading scheme There are three gradable tasks in lab 1. The grading for each of these tasks is described below. Submission of ".alias" file (35%) (17%) A file named .alias was attached to the email sent in Exercise 3 (18%) The file correctly contains the alias for rm to really execute rm -i The file may contain other aliases, but must contain the alias for rm. Sending of e-mail - Exercise 2 (30%) (14%) E-mail was sent "To:" proper grader (7%), with "To:" or "Cc:" to student (7%). Note that if email was only sent to grader, award half credit. (8%) Subject of e-mail was of form `CSE 115: Lab 1 StudentName PersonNumber'. (8%) Contents of e-mail was non-empty. Office Hour Visit - Exercise 3 (35%) (7%) Students name was indicated on the electronic grading attendance as having attended an office hour before the lab was due. Please note: The only way for a student to get credit for these sections without a signature is to have an excuse from the instructor in the place where the signature should be. Student stories about not being able to come to office hours receive no points. REPORTING OF GRADES TO STUDENTS Use the following form to e-mail grades to students. You should email that at username@cse.buffalo.edu and the subject of the email should be "Lab 1 Grade and Feedback" A copy of this ENTIRE email with the bottom part filled in by you should be sent to the student for their reference.
