Western New York Computing Connection - Main page

Welcome to the Western New York Computing Connection web site! We are a group of faculty from colleges and universities in Western New York who care deeply about computing and wish to:

  • promote computing as a discipline and a career option to K-16 students,
  • support the teaching of computing in K-12 schools, and
  • advertise the breadth and depth of computing programs available at the many colleges and universities in the Western New York region.
We plan to accomplish these goals through supportive outreach to teachers and guidance counsellors at local area schools, K-16 students in these schools, and the parents of these students.
