For course-related help your professor and teaching assistants are there to help you. But sometimes you need general help, or just need to be pointed in the right direction. Here are some other sources of help you can use:
The department has a peer mentoring program. Peer mentors are students just like you, who are available to provide general assistance with departmental life. More information is available at the Peer Mentor Program website.
The CSE Information Technology staff maintains an IT Service Catalog containing lots of useful information about the department's facilities and equipment.
The department has a student-staffed help desk. When it is open, you can just drop in to ask your questions.
When it's not convenient to drop by the Help Desk, consider sending your question to cse-consult@cse.buffalo.edu via e-mail. A member of the technical staff will respond.
