UB Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) offers a variety of programs which allow students to tailor their academic experience to their particular interests.

Major Programs

CSE offers three distinct majors; two in Computer Science and one in Computer Engineering.

Many students ask about the difference between the two Computer Science programs. Briefly, the BA in Computer Science is an undergraduate degree offering breadth, while the BS in Computer Science is an undergraduate degree offering depth. Minor Programs

Computer Science

CSE offers a minor program in Computer Science for students in other majors who wish to complement their major studies with Computer Science coursework.
