Ft. Niagara State Park beach on the shores of Lake Ontario. On a clear day in summer, you get the most gorgeous sunsets on the lake. If it is a calm day, there is nothing like coming here with your S.O. and watching a romantic sunset. Of course, it's a 35 minute drive from my place, but when you're with your S.O., 35 minutes are nothing. Which reminds me of an old joke that I heard: An old Jewish man reads about Einstein's theory of relativity in the newspaper and asks his scientist grandson to explain it to him. "Well, zayda, it's sort of like this. Einstein says that if you're having your teeth drilled, a minute seems like an hour. But if you're sitting with a beautiful woman on your lap, an hour seems like a minute." The old man considers this profound bit of thinking for a moment and asks incredulously, "And he gets paid for this?"
