Preparing the Design for Fabrication

Generate
a GDS file from your Cadence Library database. To generate a GDS
file

Do File ->
Export -> Stream . A Virtuoso stream out
form appears . Leave the "Run
Directory" field to current working directory i.e. "." .

Click on the library browser button and select
the layout view of the cell in which
both the Pad frame and the top level cell of your project are present.

Give the name of the output file as <Name_of_Project>.gds.
Leave the default value in rest of the fields. Click on OK
to complete the stream out process.
A message pops up once the stream out has completed successfully. Check
the PIPO.LOG file
in the run directory to see if there are no errors .

Submit the *.gds file
generated in the previous step using the submit_cse497 command.

Only one member of
the project should submit the design.

Please send us a mail from
the person's account who submitted the design with the design name , and
a 4-5 line description of the project.
