I am currently working as a post-doctoral researcher with Prof. Jean-Pierre Hubaux at the Laboratory for computer Communications and Applications (LCA), Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. My new website can be found at http://people.epfl.ch/murtuza.jadliwala

I am currently pursuing successfully completed my Doctoral(Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science at The University at Buffalo, State University of New York on August 2008. I am was a Ph.D. Candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York since August 2006. My Ph.D. Advisor is was Prof. Shambhu Upadhyaya and the topic of my dissertation is was "Security and Robustness of Localization Techniques for Emergency Sensor Networks".

I earned my Bachelors degree (B.E.) in Computer Science with a First Class from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, University of Bombay. I completed my Masters (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York with a GPA of 3.8. My research interests include Secure and Robust Communication-based Services (e.g., Localization and Time Synchronization) in Wireless Data Networks (Wireless LANs, Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks), Operating System and Network Security, Vulnerability Analysis, Combinatorial Optimization, Approximation Algorithms and Multi-Agent Systems including game theory and economic mechanism design.
