Subject: Suggestion on how to study math From: "William J. Rapaport" Date: Mon, 21 Sep 2009 09:49:47 -0400 (EDT) A student passed along this suggestion. It may not work for everyone, but, if it sounds plausible to you, try it! "I thought that I would share one of the best ways to study that truly drilled the information into my head. I took AP Biology my senior year of high school. I still remember a lot of information that we learned in this class, so obviously this worked. For every chapter, my teacher made us make up what she called "portfolio pages". We had to use color and as many pictures as we could. Since the mind is a very visual thing, you are far more likely to remember things with colors and pictures. While I realize that pictures are not always as possible for a math class, perhaps even just using a few different color pens for different ideas when copying notes again could be very useful."
