"In reference to the exam, if you ask us to prove something that would
require a specific definition such as:

"Prove that if x^3 is irrational, then x is irrational." Formal
Definition of an irrational number = '....',

Will the definition be given along with the problem?"

Reply:
First, I won't ask questions about the definition of "irrational".
But, second, I won't give you the definitions of terms like "Odd" or
"Even".
