Subject: Final Exam From: "William J. Rapaport" Date: Wed, 11 Nov 2009 11:11:21 -0500 (EST) As you know, our final exam for CSE 191 will be: WED 12/16/2009, 08:00 AM - 11:00 AM, KNOX 109 If you have a conflict with the final exam for another course, one tradition is for each instructor to ask the student with the conflict to persuade the *other* instructor to change the exam time :-) The other tradition is for the larger class to take precedence over the smaller class. We have 100 students in 191, so if you have a conflict with a smaller class, you should ask the other instructor to give you an alternate exam time. In any case, if you have a(n irresolvable) conflict with another course's final exam time, please let me know by Friday, Nov. 13. ======================================================================== Subject: CSE 191: Final Exam: 200909_102694_CH From: "William J. It is considered impolite to address anyone, much less a faculty member, much less *your* instructor who has to give you a grade :-), by last name alone. Please address me as "Professor Rapaport". Thanks. 2. Yes, the final exam will be cumulative, which is why it can replace your midterm-exam grade if it is higher than the midterm grade.
