GRADES To: CSE191-SP08-LIST@LISTSERV.BUFFALO.EDU ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Subject: 191: POLICY ON DISPUTED H.W. GRADES ------------------------------------------------------------------------ As I mentioned in response to a question this morning: If you disagree with, or do not understand, a grade on one of your HWs, please do the following in the following order: First, talk to your TA, either during recitation or office hours; preferably, circle the problem you'd like to have re-graded and give it to your TA, and then talk to your TA if you still have a problem. Second, if you **still** disagree or don't understand how your HW was graded even after discussing it with your TA, then please see me. Again, preferably, circle the problem you'd like to have re-graded and give it to me. I'll look at it and regrade it if necessary. If I don't change the grade, and you still don't understand, then please see me during office hours. This procedure gives you two lines of appealing a disputed grade.
