Several of you seem not to be paying attention to the requirements
for formatting the homeworks.

I quote from the syllabus:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
#  Put your:

    * full name
    * date
    * recitation (R1, R2, R3) 

   at the top right-hand side of each page.

# Secure all pages with a staple (not a paper clip, etc.) in the top
  left-hand corner.

# Each HW problem solution should consist of:

    * a restatement of the entire problem (you may copy it word for word),
    * followed by a complete solution with all intermediate steps shown.

Please be sure that HW #3 satisfies these formatting rules; it makes our
life easier, which makes us happier (and surely you want us to be in a
happy mood when we grade your homeworks ;-)
