Some of these seem to result in a "404" error. If that happens to you, please do the following: 1. Try accessing directly by linking to: http://cognet.mit.edu.gate.lib.buffalo.edu/library/erefs/mitecs/ You probably have to do this from a UB (buffalo.edu) computer. 2. If that fails, then do this: a) link to the UB Libraries http://ublib.buffalo.edu/libraries/ b) using the BISON catalog, select "Title begins with" from the drop-down menu, and then enter the title: MIT Encyclopedia of the Cognitive Sciences and click on "GO" or hit return/enter c) this should take you to a list of books; the first item on the list is MITECS; click on that link d) that should take you to a list of both versions of MITECS; the first is the online version; click on that link e) that, in turn, should take you to the catalog entry that lists INTERNET LINK http://cognet.mit.edu.gate.lib.buffalo.edu/library/erefs/mitecs/ You would think that that would be a link, but it is merely a URL. Open a new browser page and enter that URL. With luck, it will take you to MITECS. If anyone knows a simpler way, let me know.
