Cognitive class fellows!! I need very small help from you. I have chosen to make mock grant proposal. So, I have to construct 'supposed research project' for that. The research I am thinking now is interdisciplinary research which involves linguistics, Psychological and Anthropological, each part of which is all associated to certain concepts of cognitive science. The help I want to get from you is kind of simple survey. Four types of arithmetic signs are represented below. Please put four English expressions corresponding to each signs. It is not the survey for the right interpretation or correct answer but I need English expressions which quickly pop up in your mind right after you look at those arithmetic signs. So please put the four English expressions (sentences) respectively to the four arithmetic signs. By the way, please mention your nationality and mother language, so that I can distinguish the diffrence of the expression between native and non-native English speaker. --------------------- 1. 3 + 4 = -> 2. 7 - 5 = -> 3. 2 x 6 = -> 4. 24 / 6 = -> ---------------------- Awaiting your kind help!
