Course Description:
Detailed survey of the issues and techniques of representing knowledge and belief in a computer system; syntax and semantics of various formalisms including predicate logic, semantic networks, frames, analogical representations. Classic papers will be read and current research issues discussed.

Prerequisites: CSE 572 (Knowledge-Based AI), or permission of instructor.
