June 09, 2008: Two new PetaShare/LBRN sites get online: Louisiana State University in Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. PetaShare services are ready to use on both of these sites.

June 05, 2008: The Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN) decided to join its state-wide storage network to PetaShare. After this merge, all major research institutions in Louisiana become part of the PetaShare storage network.

June 02, 2008: The fourth PetaShare site (Tulane University) is now online with PetaShare services and ready to use.

May 16, 2008: The third PetaShare site (University of Louisiana at Lafayette) is now online with PetaShare services and ready to use.

May 08, 2008: petaFs and petashell client tools are now available online for easier access to PetaShare storage. You can download these tools here.

April 21, 2008: We are now accepting PetaShare storage allocation requests from all science domains. The storage allocation proposal form can be found here.

April 17, 2008: The second PetaShare site (Louisiana State University) is now online with PetaShare services and ready to use.

April 11, 2008: The first PetaShare site (University of New Orleans) is now online with PetaShare services and ready to use.

March 03, 2008: PetaShare All Hands Meeting was held on March 3rd, 2008 in Baton Rouge, LA, at LSU Campus. The agenda of this meeting as well as presentation slides can be found here.
