A student writes:
"I was reading back over one of my earlier position papers which
claimed that the brain is a computer, and realized that belief
invalidated my claim in position paper 5 that computers are purely
syntactic and therefore not cognitive. Since the human brain is what I
believe con's argument is basing the definition of cognitive on,
I would like to make the claim that since a brain is a computer,
a computer may be semantic and cognitive.  Is it okay for me to cite one
of my own previous position papers to support the argument for Position
Paper 5?"
